How do you choose your starting career skills?
You get 20 starting skill points, and you cannot change the allocation after you confirm it.
The setup screen shows your 20 skill points in the top-left corner, with presets above the six stats.

How do you progress through your boxing career?
You climb from amateur to professional through training, wins, and choices, with underground bareknuckle leagues as another route.
Your career also depends on what you do between bouts. Build a routine around these needs:
| Career task | What you manage |
|---|---|
| Training | Skill development |
| Meals | Nutrition and weight |
| Job shifts | Money between fights |
| Corner preparation | Supplies for your corner |
| Health screen | Injury treatment |
Plan your food and weight with Bruisers 2D Boxing meals, and fit Bruisers 2D Boxing jobs around workouts to fund your needs. Training, work, and nutrition have to fit together if you want to stay healthy while leveling up.
Injuries carry over between fights. Treat them from the health screen rather than expecting the next bout to clear them. Pushing too hard has consequences, so make Bruisers 2D Boxing injuries part of your between-fight planning.
Amateur to professional
Take the amateur-to-pro path to build your boxing career through training and wins. The ranking ladder has a 60-fighter Contenders list, scaling purses, retiring fighters, belt tracking, title defenses, and win-loss records. Your record and title defenses give you career milestones beyond finishing a single bout.
Underground bareknuckle leagues
You can head into the underground bareknuckle leagues instead. If that is the route you want to pursue, continue with Bruisers 2D Boxing bareknuckle.
Once you have created your fighter and learned the Career Hub, you have a starting point for developing skills and working through the circuits. Next, build your training routine and leave room for the work, food, and recovery that keep your career moving.
